TIRANA, February 4/ATA/ The Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) official website has been restored to full function following the cyber-attack by the Iranian hacker group “Homeland Justice”.
The cyber-attack on INSTAT’s website happened on January 31 and as a consequence the website became inaccessible to citizens.
INSTAT announced on January 31 that its IT systems were the subject of a sophisticated cyber-attack, so it reacted quickly and professionally to prevent and minimize potential damage from the attack.
