Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Minister of Transport Maja Vukicevic and British Ambassador to Podgorica Dawn McKen have agreed that Montenegro and the United Kingdom can strengthen their strategic partnership through new projects.
“Economic and development topics, focused on further stimulating the growth of the national economy through joint efforts on a greater number of concrete projects, are a prerequisite for strengthening already traditionally good bilateral cooperation, with a particular emphasis on the economy. Therefore, our priority here is clear,” said Vukicevic.
She added that Montenegro’s market was ready for British investments.
During their first official meeting, Vukicevic and McKen used the opportunity to reflect on common interests and the potential for closer strategic partnership between the two countries, aimed at ensuring the long-term continuity of good relations, which could be further economically strengthened through new projects.
McKen congratulated Vukicevic on her new position and expressed confidence that sincere and continuous mutual support was a prerequisite for fostering bilateral relations. She welcomed the open invitation for cooperation with credible partners from the United Kingdom.
They also exchanged views on other topics pertaining to bilateral relations.
