Citizens to vote on Montenegro’s visual identity

The citizens will have the opportunity to vote for the best solution for Montenegro’s national brand from 15 to 29 November on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development.

At the first meeting focusing on the visual identity of the national brand, students from the working teams of the University of Montenegro, the Mediterranean University, and the University of Donja Gorica, selected on the basis of a public call concluded in August, had the opportunity to present their proposals for the visual identity of Montenegro’s national brand to an evaluation panel.

“They were developed under the guidance of teams of their mentors, comprised of professors from their respective universities,” stated a press release issued by the Ministry.

The proposed visual identity solutions will be evaluated by a panel of representatives of the ministries of economic development, culture and media, and sports and youth, the National Tourism Organization, the United Nations Development Programme in Montenegro, and independent graphic design experts.

“It is interesting to note that the citizens will also have one vote in this panel, allowing them to participate in the public voting process and cast their vote for what they consider to be best solution for Montenegro’s national brand,” added the Ministry.
