This was announced by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, who received the official delegation of the Land of Bavaria, headed by the Minister of State for European and International Affairs, Melanie Huml.
According to Minister Ibrahimaj, this event marks an important step in the relations between the two countries, as they embark on a common journey that will boost the Albanian economy.

“The establishment of the joint Commission between Albania and Bavaria epitomizes the commitment of both parties to increase cooperation in various fields of development and promotion of joint economic activities. Also, this initiative proves the trust that Bavaria has placed on Albania, as a reliable partner in achieving our common goals,” said Ibrahimaj.
The minister assured that the Albanian government remains committed to creating and enabling the environment for investments, implementing further reforms and strengthening the rule of law.
“We will continue to improve our business-friendly policies, streamline administrative procedures and provide the necessary support to facilitate cooperation with our Bavarian partners,” she said.
Minister Ibrahimaj briefed the Bavarian friends on the developments and reforms undertaken by the Albanian government, which have delivered an impact on our economy, as well as created a more favorable environment for business.
She listed a number of areas such as infrastructure development, energy, tourism and agriculture.
While the Minister of State for European and International Affairs, member of the Bavarian State Parliament, Melanie Huml, emphasized that Germany will support Albania in many sectors.
Humln highlighted the current relations between the two countries and emphasized the interest in strengthening and intensifying them in the future, in diverse areas such as economic development, trade, energy, infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, education or healthcare.
Albania, said Humln, is a prosperous country and a factor of stability in the Western Balkans, and we will support it on the path to EU integration.
The establishment of the joint commission between the Bavarian and Albanian states, according to Minister Humln, is the right step in stepping up cooperation and identifying areas where support needs to be intensified.
