ZAGREB, 3 July (Hina) – Adriatic Croatia International Club (ACI) marked the 40th anniversary of its establishment at a ceremony in Ičići on Monday honouring most loyal boaters and workers with the longest years of service at this marina operator.
ACI operates 22 marinas along the Croatian Adriatic coast and is a leading marina operator in the Mediterranean region.
The company invests in its future by implementing state-of-the-art technological solutions and pursuing environment-friendly policies.
Adriatic Croatia International Club board chairman Kristijan Pavić said at the ceremony that he was proud of the first 40 years of ACI.
Building ACI marina in Rijeka

The company’s currently biggest project is the construction of the ACI marina in Rijeka.
ACI-Gitone, a joint company of ACI and Gitone, owned by the German Lurssen group, is expected to invest over €50 million in the new marina that will spread over 106,000 square metres.
The 30-year concession for the construction and commercial use of the Porto Baroš marina in Rijeka was granted to the ACI-Gitone company by the government at its meeting on 20 May 2021. In the meantime, a planning permit was issued and a concession contract signed.
The future ACI Marina Rijeka will boast about 230 berths and other amenities, including restaurants, shops, and a promenade.
Initially, it is expected to create over 130 jobs.
