Croatian government on Thursday sent a proposal to the parliament to endorse the annual report on the performance of the steering board of the national news agency HINA in 2022.

The report shows that last year, HINA’s revenues rose 10.9% to HRK 28.5 million, while the expenditures increased 8.7% to HRK 27.2 million.

As a result, HINA’s profit was HRK 1.2 million in 2022, twice as high as in 2021.

In 2022, the editorial staff and journalists continued to work in rented rooms in the downtown Zagreb, while the HRK10 million retrofitting of HINA’s building, badly damaged in the earthquakes in 2020,В  was under way.

Last year, there were 121 employees on the news agency’s payroll.
