In this case, the Kosovo Police, the Border Police Department, in cooperation with the police investigators from the War Crimes Investigation Directorate, detained the Serbian suspect (SN) year of birth 1964 in the municipality of Vushtrri, as a person suspected of crimes war.

According to the Police, he was detained today, on 18.11.2023, in Jarinje, as he is suspected of the criminal offense “War crimes against the civilian population” committed during 1998-1999 in the municipality of Vushtrri.

“The suspect has been sent to the police and is expected to be interviewed in the presence of the defense lawyer, where all further procedures will be undertaken in coordination with the justice authorities”, the police communiqué states.
