ZAGREB, 11 Dec (Hina) – The average monthly net wage in Zagreb’s legal entities reached €1,648 in September, up 1.4% from August and 8.8% year-on-year, city data showed on Thursday.
The median net wage was €1,432.
According to the City Office for Economy, Environmental Sustainability and Strategic Planning, the highest average net wage was paid in oil and gas extraction (€2,668), while the lowest was in other personal service activities (€980).
Zagreb’s average gross wage in legal entities amounted to €2,354, up 1.3% from August and 9% from September 2024.
By comparison, the national average net wage for September stood at €1,456.
