Week-long Kala Festival, great music and seaside party in Albanian Riviera village of Dhërmi

TIRANA, June 6 /ATA/ – Kala Festival, an annual event taking place in the village of Dhërmi, southern Albania, will bring together Albanian and foreign young people at the fabulous beaches and the stunning landscape of the Albanian Riviera.

“Get ready to enjoy a carefully curated experience of a dreamlike combination of music festival and beach holidays,” the National Tourism Agency (NTA) said via the social media, announcing the new edition of the Kala Festival in the coastal village of Dhërmi on Wednesday.

The week-long Kala Festival (5-12 June) – in addition to the festive atmosphere and music – it promotes tourist Albania and the southern Riviera in particular and the country’s potential to become a top European tourist destination.

The annual Kala Festival offers an extraordinary festive atmosphere in a combination of beautiful music, young people and stunning and impressive Albanian landscape.

The event helps local business generate significant income as hotels in Dhermi are fully booked, but it also promotes tourist Albania and the southern Riviera in particular and the country’s potential to become a top European tourist destination.

The Kala festival is one of the newest events on the Albanian calendar. It takes place in the village of Dhërmi and its surroundings every June. The location on the Albanian Riviera means it is a popular festival with stunning beaches nearby. Launched in 2018, it was the first international music festival in Albania. Held over a week, the event sees many top DJs artists perform their hits in a stunning setting.

The week-long seaside party on the southern coast is putting Albania on the map for young travellers.
