Vukovic meets with students of the Faculty of Economics

Representatives of the Ministry of Finance have met with the first generation of students of the Faculty of Economics attending classes in Business and Economics taught in English (MONTEB) to present management principles applied by that department.

This is the first Economics and Business programme in Montenegro entirely taught in the English language (www.monteb.me).

The students met with Minister of Finance Novica Vukovic and Director-General of the Directorate for State Budget Bojan Paunovic.

It was concluded at the meeting that one of the mandatory activities within the Management course, taught by Ivan Radevic in the first semester, involved students conducting semi-structured interviews in small groups with managers from the private or public sector.

Students Katia Pejovic, Djordje Drljevic, and Nika Krasnekova visited the Ministry of Finance, and the entire conversation, in line with the programme, was conducted in English.

“The students expressed their interest in organizing a visit by the Minister and his team to the Faculty of Economics at the beginning of the semester, which would be open to all students,” stated a press release, adding that this initiative would be as another form of ‘management in practice’.
