ZAGREB, 29 Nov (Hina) – The value of completed construction works by companies with 20 or more own workers in the third quarter of 2024 went up 12.6% on the year, while the value of new orders was up 9.6%, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said on Friday.
The value of construction works in Q3 was €1.66 billion, of which €1.2 billion were done with own workers and €471.6 million with subcontractors.
The value of new orders in Q3 was €1.35 billion, of which €811.6 million referred to buildings and €539 million to other structures.
As to works done with own workers, 62.5% referred to new construction and 37.5% to other works. At the same time, 52.3% of the works were done on buildings and 47.7% on other structures.
The value of completed construction works by companies with 20 or more own workers in the first nine months of 2024В was up 12% on the year, while the value of new orders went up 13.2%.
The value of construction works in said period amounted to €4.86 billion, of which €3.45 billion referred to works done with own workers and €1.4 billion to those done with subcontractors.
The value of new orders totalled €4.4 billion, of which €2.5 billion referred to buildings and €1.9 billion to other structures.
