Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There were 28,800 unemployed people in Montenegro at the end of May, 1.2 percent fewer than in April.

According to a monthly report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate stood at 9.91 percent at the end of April, down from 12.58 percent in the same period last year.

In the first five months of this year, the Employment Office registered 4,690 newly employed workers.

Approximately 11,370 vacancies have been advertised in that period.
