Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There were 35,420 unemployed people in Montenegro at the end of May, 2.8 percent fewer than in April.

According to a monthly report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate stood at 12.58 percent at the end of May, down from 15.16 percent in the same period last year.

Since the beginning of the year, the Employment Office has registered 4,780 newly employed workers.

Approximately 12,000 vacancies have been advertised in that period.
