Ambassador of Turkey to Montenegro Baris Kalkavan has said that the Turkish company TAV is still interested in investing in Montenegrin airports.

“Companies from Turkey are ready to invest in railway infrastructure, as well as in the maritime sector. We are also open to cooperation within key international organizations,” Kalkavan said at a meeting with the Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Filip Radulovic.

They agreed that Montenegro and Turkey had had a good cooperation, which was expected to continue in the coming period.

“We are ready for further cooperation, and I am confident that we can further enhance our relations. There is additional room for collaboration in numerous areas,” stated Radulovic.

In order to establish closer connections between the two countries, the Turkish Chamber of Commerce, Turkcham, has been established, bringing together large companies from both Montenegro and Turkey.
