Podgorica, (MINA) – There is no greater guarantee for the future of Montenegro than the triumph over crime, Minister of Internal Affairs Danilo Saranovic said at a meeting with his Slovenian counterpart Bostjan Poklukar.

Poklukar paid a two-day visit to Montenegro at the invitation of Saranovic.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that Poklukar and Saranovic noted that the cooperation between the ministries of the two countries is at an admirable level, and that further concretization of this cooperation at all levels was agreed upon.

Saranovic expressed his satisfaction with the partnership ties between the two ministries and thanked Slovenia for its strong support.

Poklukar said that Saranovic has the strong support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Slovenia in the fight against crime and pointed out the remarkable results achieved by Montenegro.

“I believe that Montenegro has reasons for optimism, both in terms of improving security, and in terms of fulfilling its strategic priority – joining the EU as soon as possible”, said Poklukar.
