Bar, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Tourist Board of Bar has promoted the destination’s tourism industry potentials at the prestigious Travel Trade Show ITB Berlin, which was used as an opportunity to showcase the beauties and attractions that the city offers and to strengthen ties with tourism partners from around the world.
During the fair held last week, the Tourist Board of Bar presented the destination’s diverse tourism products, highlighting the unique natural beauties, cultural heritage, and opportunities for active vacationing that Bar offers to its visitors.
This year’s slogan of the show, “Pioneer the Transition in Travel and Tourism. Together” is aimed at encouraging all stakeholders in the industry to create valuable business connections and acquire new knowledge and skills.
ITB is one of the two major tourism events in the world, organized in the B2B segment. This year, over 5,500 exhibitors from 170 countries participated in the most frequented travel show, boasting 110,000 visits, of which 60,000 were representatives of the industry.
“Germany is a major outbound market for our destination. According to official data from Monstat, guests from Germany rank sixth in terms of arrivals, with a total of 10,860 tourist arrivals and 101,100 overnight stays,” stated a press release issued by the Tourist Board of Bar.
At ITB Berlin, Montenegro’s Booth, designed by National Tourism Organization (NTO), featured the national airline Air Montenegro, tourist boards of Herceg Novi, Kotor, and Podgorica, Aycon Hotels Group, Hotel Group Budva Riviera, Hotels Group Montenegro Stars, Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa, Voco Podgorica (an IHG hotel), Gold Travel DMC, Gulliver Montenegro Travel Agency, Jack Travel, Monte Mare Travel, Montenegro Tourist Service DMC, and Montenegro Travel Club.
