Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The National Tourism Organization (NTO) has introduced the Montenegro Quality (MQ) label for the first time and invited all interested parties from the tourism, hospitality, and related industries to apply.
“This call aims to improve tourism services and promote Montenegro as an attractive year-round destination, offering unique experiences to all visitors,” the NTO stated in a press release.
According to the NTO, having the quality label can help businesses stand out in the market, provide continuous promotion through NTO activities and communication channels, increase visibility among tourists, and offer added value through NTO incentive measures.
“Various tourism entities, including hotels, restaurants, accommodation and food establishments, camps, ethno-villages, museums, spa centres, galleries, ski resorts, travel agencies, airports, national parks, local producers, and many others, can apply for the MQ quality label,” the NTO added.
The MQ quality labels are awarded in three levels based on the prescribed criteria: Gold (for those who score 85 percent or more of the maximum points), Silver (for those who score 70 to 85 percent), and Bronze (for those who score 55 to 70 percent).
