Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said Thursday that the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s second executive must change its approach to environmental and climate policies with respect to the first.

“The new European Commission must change the position that the outgoing Commission has had in recent years,” Tajani said at the Trilateral Business Forum in Paris.

“We cannot have an environmental policy that kills industry and competitiveness.

“We must change the policy line in the environmental sector”.
