Tivat, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Municipality of Tivat has unveiled its new TivatSmart platform, which will provide residents, visitors and the wider local community with easier access to digital services and information relevant to everyday life in the city.

Through the TivatSmart portal, users can check outstanding balances and pay taxes, fees and bills for services provided by the Water Supply and Sewerage Company and the Municipal Services Company.

They can also complete and submit forms to the Municipality, with the option of paying the applicable fees online, pay for parking by credit card, follow the city’s events calendar and access public service information.

Tivat Mayor Zeljko Komnenovic said the idea was to enable residents, after registering with their email addresses, to pay bills and service charges, check the events calendar and access service information with a single click.

“Tivat is a pioneer in this undertaking and the first municipality in Montenegro to introduce a service of this kind. I hope residents will make use of the portal’s services, and I encourage them to register,” Komnenovic said.

The TivatSmart platform was developed in cooperation with App Booking, modelled on a similar system operating in Rijeka, Croatia.
