Timisoara to host up three major events focusing AI, cybersecurity and startups on May 28, 29
Timisoara is hosting three major events focusing AI, cybersecurity and startups on May 28 and 29, which reconfirms its position as a city open to courageous ideas, cutting-edge technologies and dialogue between leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs.
The Timisoara City hall is being a strategic partner in all the three major events.
‘Timisoara consolidates its position as a city of innovation, an engine of our development and prosperity. I am glad to see that more and more partners choose Timisoara as a space for dialogue on current trends in technology and entrepreneurship. I tell everyone: here you will find an open administration and a city ready to grow through creativity, courage and collaboration,’ said mayor Dominic Fritz in a press release on Monday.
Wednesday’s programme includes two events. The first brings together representatives of the local administration, academia and companies to analyze the challenges and opportunities in the field of cybersecurity and dual-use technologies.
The second marks the official launch of a new development vision: the city as a regional hub of innovation and entrepreneurship, and brings together startups, investors, universities and public administration in a common effort to build a collaborative and sustainable tech ecosystem. The event includes discussion panels on urban innovation and the development of the tech ecosystem and networking sessions for entrepreneurs and investors.
On Thursday, the CCIFER (The French Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Romania) Forum – Artificial Intelligence, the (in)visible ally, is scheduled, which explores the real applicability of artificial intelligence in the public and private sectors: from assisted decision-making and ethics, to the impact in education and the labour market.
