The 89th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) on September 6-14 will celebrate the centennial of the organizer TIF-HELEXPO in 10 special events that will be publicized in the near future, TIF-HELEXPO said on Tuesday.

Events will include thematic and other events, a rich program of concerts with popular singers, parallel events, and several surprises, it said, celebrating the founding of the fair organization in 1925. 

The 10 themes showcased at the expo will include the following: 

– AutoThessaloniki (including all new cars premiering in the Greek market)
– Akademia (interaction of the education community with the public)
– Technology/Research/Innovation (on recent achievements and smart applications)
– Regions of Greece/Cuisines (authentic local products and recipes)
– Greek entrepreneurship (including all chambers and SMEs)
– International Participation (representations of countries through embassies or state agencies and independent foreign businesses interested in the Greek market)
– Energy/Cyclical Economy (ecology planning, recyling, innovative technologies)
– Public sector/Organizations and Citizen Services (providing information on available services for better quality of life)
– Furniture/Home appliances (samples and ideas for renewing home or office, with special offers) and 
– Gastronomy and Nutrition (Greek and foreign retail businesses including food and beverage categories).
