Podgorica, (MINA) – The support of the USA for entering the Government of Montenegro will be given to those who support, among other things, Montenegro’s EU accession and the unique NATO’s support to Ukraine, the American Embassy in Podgorica stated.

The Embassy told Nova M that they were looking forward with interest for the formation of a new government in Montenegro.

According to them, the recent presidential and parliamentary elections emphasized the determination of Montenegrin citizens towards the EU integration, the Euro-Atlantic values and support for NATO.

“In line with that, we are looking forward to cooperation with the government whose members support Montenegro’s EU accession, NATO’s unique support for Ukraine, the civil nature of the state, respect for human rights, improvement of the conditions for the work of a dynamic civil society, and that strive for improvement of reforms in order to achieve those goals”, the US Embassy stated.
