Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Prime Minister Milojko Spajic has welcomed the Social Council’s decision to support an increase in the minimum wage.
“I welcome the Social Council’s decision to support the increase in the minimum wage as a key measure from the Europe Now 2 programme,” Spajic posted on the social network X.
He added that in just four years, the minimum wage had nearly tripled, or almost quadrupled, and reminded that the minimum wage had increased from €222 in 2020 to €600, or even €800, depending on the level of education.
“We are fighting for a better standard and a decent life for all our citizens. Let the results speak for themselves,” Spajic stated.
