Podgorica, (MINA) – The government will do everything to ensure that all religious organizations and citizens are treated equally, Prime Minister Milojko Spajic has said during a meeting with Bishop of Kotor Mladen Vuksic.

According to the press release from the Prime Minister’s office, Spajic said that Montenegro would fully implement the rule of law reform when every individual and organization in the country feels that the same rules apply to everyone.

He pointed out that Vuksic would enjoy his full support in his work and that he can count on the full cooperation of the executive power to establish a genuine partnership.

“We are committed to finally resolving issues related to property restitution and other property concerns, not only for the Diocese of Kotor but for all religious communities”, Spajic said.

To that end, Spajic explained, a Commission would be established promptly to efficiently address these matters, in particular those where no legal barriers exist, and which can be easily proven.
