Skopje, 23 July 2024 (MIA) – As part of the 45th Skopje Summer festival, the Shtip Bronzena nametka [Bronze Cloak] drama studio will stage Trajche Kacarov’s comedy “Veselinovi” [“The Joyfuls”] at Skopje’s Suli An.
According to the Skopje Directorate of Culture and Arts in a press release, the comedy is about the traps of family life. Navigating them are two people who are “more contradictory than categorical” and “at times endearing, at times unbearable,” the release says.
Ole Pockova and Igor Stojanov play the roles of Vesela and Veselko [Joyce and Joydan].
“They fear like children and play like children. They frequently sink into problems arising from their shallow pockets, distance from their children, the claws of bureaucratic predators,” the release adds.
