Podgorica, (MINA) – The Public Health Institute (IJZ) confirmed on Tuesday the first case of measles in Pljevlja, which is the sixth laboratory-confirmed case in Montenegro.
IJZ stated that the disease was registered with a 42-year-old individual from Pljevlja who was in contact with an infected person in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The epidemiological service in Pljevlja is investigating the contacts in order to collect further information that would prevent the infection spread”, the press release stated.
