Kosovo has won another medal at the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games, bringing the country’s total medal tally to nine.

Iranian weightlifter Kianoush Rostami won the silver medal, securing Kosovo’s second silver medal and his second personal medal at the Games.

Rostami delivered a strong performance in the weightlifting competition, once again demonstrating his level and earning Kosovo another success at Taranto 2026.

This is Kosovo’s ninth medal at the Mediterranean Games, in an edition where Kosovo’s athletes have continued to achieve important results.
