Romania will provide Montenegro with expert assistance to help it speed up the reforms in key sectors, Deputy Prime Minister Filip Ivanovic and the head of Romanian Diplomacy Luminita Odobescu agreed at the meeting.
According to the press release from the Government of Montenegro, the interlocutors confirmed the strong ties between the two countries, and agreed that Romania has once again demonstrated its unequivocal support for Montenegro on its EU membership path.
“Romania has announced providing expert assistance to help Montenegro speed up the reforms in key sectors”, the press release reads.
According to the press release, the interlocutors paid special significance to signing four key bilateral agreements in the fields of agriculture, internal affairs and culture, as well as cooperation between the universities of Montenegro and Romania.
Ivanovic and Odobescu discussed the current regional issues, especially the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East.
“They emphasized the importance of stability and shared activities in facing global challenges”, the press release reads.
