Radulovic: Budva-Dubrovnik maritime service is a success

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Minister of Maritime Affairs Filip Radulovic, the maritime service between Budva and Dubrovnik was very successful during the past summer season, fully meeting all expectations.

He announced that the service would be available again next year, starting from the very beginning of the summer season.

“This service, which significantly contributes to enhancing the tourism offerings, not only facilitates connectivity between the two cities but also helps reduce traffic congestion, improving transportation infrastructure and the quality of life for citizens and tourists,” said Radulovic.

He also mentioned that plans were in place for Dubrovnik to be connected to another coastal city in Montenegro next year, adding that the Ministry of Maritime Affairs would continue to invest in promoting Montenegro as a nautical and maritime destination, as well as in improving maritime connectivity.

Radulovic believes that launching new ferry services connecting Montenegrin coastal cities with major tourist destinations in neighbouring countries is crucial for both tourism and for everyday transportation, as it improves connectivity, speeds up transport, and reduces traffic congestion.
