Court hearing postponed again, Dodik’s request to transfer the trial to Banja Luka rejected
The court hearing of the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, was short-lived today before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The defense requested a postponement of the start of the trial in order to file an appeal with the Appeals Council.
Judge Mirsad Strika adopted the proposal to postpone the start of the trial until the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina responds to the appeal of Dodik’s defense.
The extrajudicial panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina passed a decision rejecting the request of Milorad Dodik to transfer the case to the court in Banja Luka.
Today, a group of citizens gathered in front of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to support the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, before the start of the court proceeding.
Among those gathered, in addition to representatives of veteran organizations and associations from the RS, there were also officials from the RS entity, Staša Košarac, Željka Cvijanović, Nenad Nešić, Radovan Višković.
