AGERPRES special correspondent, Adrian Tone, reports: The rower Ciprian Tudosa declared, on Tuesday, after qualifying in the Final A of the four-scull event at the Paris Olympic Games, that he and his colleagues row with their hearts, “because the heart never stops”.
The Tokyo 2020 Olympic vice-champion in the double scull mentioned that the final will be a much more spectacular race.
Rower Sergiu Bejan declared, in his turn that the men’s crew of four of Romania, of which he is a part, made a perfect race that allows him to participate in Final A at the Olympic Games in Paris.
His boatmate Andrei Mandrila declared that this qualification is not accidental and that there are years of work behind it.
Romania’s men’s four-scull crew, composed of Stefan Berariu, Sergiu Bejan, Andrei Mandrila, Ciprian Tudosa, dramatically qualified for Final A at the Paris Olympic Games on Tuesday, after finishing second in the requalifications.
The Romanian rowers managed to overtake the French crew by only 07/100, after being more than 1,000 meters behind it.
