TIRANA, August 11/ATA/ Albania won the second historic bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Wrestler Islam Dudaev won against the Hungarian Iszmail Muszukajev in the final bronze medal match in Men’s Freestyle 65 kilograms.
Dudaev manages to win 13 to 12 thanks to a point at the end of the match. Although Dudaev dominated the match, he was tied 12 to 12 at the end by the Hungarian wrestler. But, a decision of the referee at the end of the match gave Dudaev the victory, after he managed to get the Hungarian wrestler off the mat.
After yesterday’s bronze medal by wrestler Chermen Valiev, today it was Islam Dudaev who managed to win the second bronze medal, which is the second in the history of Albania.
