Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to preliminary statistics released by Monstat, Montenegro saw 226,000 tourist arrivals in collective accommodation in July, which resulted in 1.04 million overnight stays.
“Of the total number of nights spent in the collective accommodation, foreign tourists accounted for 91.7 percent and domestic ones for 8.3 percent,” stated a press release issued by Monstat.
In July, 92.9 percent of the total number of nights was spent in the coastal region, 3.8 percent in the Capital City, 1.9 percent in mountain regions, and 1.4 percent in other tourist destinations.
Collective accommodation does not include the individual, so-called private accommodation in houses, rooms and apartments.
It includes hotels, resorts, inns, motels, holiday centres, hostels, and camps.
