Italy’s net wealth per household amounted to €453,000 in the fourth quarter of 2025, a slight increase on the figure of €431,000 registered at the end of 2024, the Bank of Italy said on Wednesday.

The central bank added that Italy’s wealth is highly “concentrated”, with the richest 10% of households holding 60.6% of the nation’s total net wealth.

The poorest 50% of Italy’s families own only 7.2% of its wealth.
