One millionth passenger at Podgorica Airport

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Podgorica Airport has served this year’s one-millionth passenger.
“Passenger Beata Wieleba arrived at Podgorica Airport today on a Ryanair flight from London,” stated a press release issued by Airports of Montenegro (ACG).

This marks the breaking of the previous record from last year, when the one-millionth passenger was served in Podgorica on 14 August.

The millionth passenger received several gifts, including a €500 voucher from the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG), a weekend for two at the Splendid Hotel, VIP tickets from the Kotor-Lovcen cable car, a €100 voucher from Voli, and an invitation from the Montenegrin brewery Mamut to the Beer Fest.

ACG Executive Director Roko Tolic announced that the new record was an indicator of a successful season.

“The millionth passenger arrived on a Ryanair flight, which has been frequently mentioned in Montenegrin media recently. However, this airline is just one of our many partners,” said Tolic.

Since the beginning of the year, Airports of Montenegro have served over 1.64 million passengers, which is 17 percent more compared to the same period last year, and ten percent more compared to 2019.
