Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to representatives of the National Parks of Montenegro (NPCG), the number of visitors is increasing, as the natural, cultural and historical values of Montenegro attract a growing number of outdoor tourism enthusiasts year after year.

NPCG Director Marinela Djuretic said that all national parks had seen an increase in visitor numbers.

“In Biogradska Gora National Park, we have had 26,200 visitors so far this year, which is approximately 39 percent more compared to last year. The park opened earlier this year, and we expect that starting next season, the gates of this protected area will remain open year-round,” Djuretic told CGNews.

Following the winter months, the national parks’ teams carried out extensive maintenance work, including trail cleaning, waste removal, and other activities to ensure visitors enjoy a complete and pleasant experience.

Admission prices have remained unchanged, as NPCG continues to promote the annual pass, offering citizens unlimited access to all five parks for €13.50.

Additionally, the “Visit Them All” campaign, launched in cooperation with CKB, runs until July 15, during which period Visa cardholders can benefit from a 50% cashback and purchase tickets for €6.75.
