New website Agrosigurnost.me launched

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The new website Agrosigurnost.me, the first specialized educational portal in Montenegro dedicated to safety and health on farms, has been officially launched.

The website was developed by the NGO Zetski Forum, with financial support from the Municipality of Zeta, in response to the growing need among farmers to have reliable information in one place that improves safety, health, and working conditions in this important sector.

“Agrosigurnost.me aims to enhance knowledge and awareness of safety in agriculture through practical advice, expert guidelines, visual instructions, and educational materials available to everyone. The portal is designed as a central information hub for farmers, agricultural workers, students of agricultural schools, and all those involved in rural development,” the NGO stated in a press release.

The platform will be actively developed in the coming period and regularly updated with content related to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in agriculture and forestry, from safe handling of machinery and chemicals, to safe work with animals, climate risks, ergonomics, property protection, and new technologies.

“Special attention will be devoted to education, injury prevention, and the promotion of good practices on farms,” the press release reads.

Through this project, the NGO Zetski Forum, with the support of the Municipality of Zeta, aims to contribute to creating a safer working environment for farmers and strengthening the culture of occupational safety in rural communities. The portal is open to cooperation with all institutions, schools, organizations, and individuals who wish to contribute to improving safety and knowledge in rural areas.
