“This year’s first collection, entitled ‘Astronomy: Celestial Chronicles’, transforms amazing astronomical phenomena into digital art, based on a new postage stamp issue. The collection invites you to explore the cosmos through a fascinating mix of art, history and science, creating a portal to a moment in time, thus celebrating human curiosity and the beauty of the universe,” reports Romfilatelia, in a press release sent to AGERPRES on Wednesday.

The “Innovation, Steps Towards the Future” collection brings additional interactive and educational elements provided by AR technology, features that make the stamp collection more interesting and informative, capturing the interest of both experienced collectors and newcomers.

“The continuation of the collaboration with ICI Bucharest, which owns the first European institutional platform for trading digital assets, is the natural result of the appreciation enjoyed by the postage stamp, which is transferred through NFTs in the digital era. The Romanian stamp highlights the collective memory, personalities and national and international events of major importance and realizes through these collections the transition from real to virtual,” said Cristina Popescu, general director of Romfilatelia, quoted in the press release.

According to the source, each NFT in the launched collections is guaranteed by blockchain technology, ensuring the authenticity and uniqueness of each digital asset.
