ZAGREB, 13 Jan (Hina) – In the first 11 months of 2025, nine Croatian airports handled over 13.5 million passengers, up 6.8% from the same period in 2024, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS) reported.

In November alone, 456,000 passengers passed through Croatian airports, with Zagreb Airport leading at 337,800 passengers (+8% YoY), bringing its 11-month total to 4.35 million (+9.6%).

Split Airport saw a November increase of 29.2% to 62,200 passengers, totalling 3.8 million for 11 months (+7.4%), while Dubrovnik Airport handled 49,200 passengers in November (-4.4% MoM), with 3.04 million over 11 months (+4.3% YoY). Other airports had lower traffic.

Germany remained the top international market in November (105,000 passengers, +6.1% YoY), followed by the UK (31,000, -8.5%) and France (26,000, -3%).

While passenger traffic grew, air cargo traffic declined both in November (-5% to 715 tonnes) and over 11 months (-1.2% to 8,900 tonnes).
