More than 1,000 cyclists take part in Giro di Sarajevo ride

SARAJEVO, May 31 (FENA) – The traditional 18th recreational Giro di Sarajevo ride gathered a large number of citizens and cycling enthusiasts today, concluding a three-day event dedicated to promoting active lifestyles and urban mobility.

The Giro di Sarajevo Association told FENA that the event proceeded smoothly, with the participation of more than a thousand cyclists. International guests made a special contribution to the event, including 30 cyclists from the Netherlands.

The cycling convoy followed its well-known route from Dobrinja to City Hall, returning via Wilson’s Promenade, restoring the original route after a two-year break. Organizers emphasized that all participants successfully completed the course and enjoyed riding through the city streets.

The event concluded with socializing and entertainment at Wilson’s Promenade, along with the distribution of gifts for participants, ceremonially closing another successful Giro Bike Weekend in Sarajevo.

Sarajevo once again hosted an important cycling event organized by the Giro di Sarajevo Association, with the three-day program offering a wide range of activities for all ages, from cultural content to sporting competitions.
