Montenegro has a lot to offer to tourists

Podgorica, Sofija, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordic, Montenegro offers a wide range of attractions that are not exclusively intended for skiers.

She attended the award ceremony for the winners of the Snowboard World Cup in Bansko, at the invitation of Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh.

“This was an opportunity to exchange experiences related winter tourism and discuss ways to improve cooperation,” the Ministry stated in a press release.

During the event, Kordic presented Montenegro’s ski resorts, highlighting the opportunities of joint travel arrangements for remote destinations.

“There are many options for cooperation not just in winter, but also in summer. Montenegro offers a lot of attractions that are not only for skiers. It’s a small country, but with great opportunities,” Kordic said.

Borshosh stated that Bansko represents the best of Bulgarian ski tourism, including hospitality, ski slopes, and world-class facilities.

“Cooperation among Balkan countries is an important prerequisite for better positioning of the region and for building its positive image on the global tourism stage. The Balkans is not just a geographical region – it is a bridge between cultures, history, and traditions,” Borshosh said.
