Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Compared with last year’s corresponding period, industrial production in Montenegro increased by 31.6 percent in the third quarter.

“Compared with last year’s third quarter, the mining and quarrying sector recorded an increase of 95.8 percent, manufacturing grew by 0.6 percent, while electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply increased by 170.9 percent,” Monstat stated in a press release.

In the third quarter, industrial production in Montenegro saw a decrease of 2.1 percent compared with the second quarter.

“Compared with Q2 2026, mining and quarrying increased by 13.2 percent, manufacturing sector declined by 7.9 percent, while electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply decreased by 5.9 percent,” Monstat said.
