Skopje, 22 January 2024 (MIA) – Ministry of Information Society and Administration (MISA) is set to cooperate with seven universities in the country on public administration, information and communications technologies (ICT), and media after signing cooperation memoranda on Monday.

Minister of Information Society and Administration Azir Aliu signed cooperation memos with representatives from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (UKIM), University St. Clement Ohridski in Bitola, Southeast Europe University, Tetovo State University, Goce Delchev University in Shtip, University of Information Science and Technology (UIST) “St. Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid, and Mother Teresa University in Skopje.

Minister Aliu said that the Ministry has active laws for creating a system related to the areas of cooperation and that they cannot be implemented without involvement from universities.

“Through this memorandum, we will have a joint approach, both in the aspect of creating new policies and for implementing lasting legal solutions at the state level. I hope this is the first step where the Ministry, together with the universities, will get to create new values in the country,” Aliu said.
