Montenegro is facing a lack of integrity, non-transparent work and manipulative activities by the most important political actors, said President of the country, Jakov Milatovic.

“Political control of the Public Broadcaster, conflicts within the security sector, the impossibility of completing the election process in Savnik, partitocracy with a lack of knowledge in the management bodies of state enterprises, are just some examples of bad practice”, Milatovic wrote in a post on the X social network.

He said that passing of unconstitutional laws in the Parliament and the avoidance of public discussion when drafting important amendments are also bad examples.

“Such actions are contrary to the those that contribute to the democratic development of the society”, Milatovic said.
