Podgorica, (MINA) – With your chivalry, dedication, attitude towards the team, opponents and the country, you’ve represented Montenegro to the world in the best possible way, said President Jakov Milatovic to the Montenegrin athletes representing Montenegro at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

On the last day of the Summer Olympic Games, he thanked all the athletes who defended the colors of Montenegro in Paris.

Milatovic said that the Montenegrin athletes showed their magnificent talent, defiantly stood shoulder to shoulder with the best and once again gave everyone in Montenegro a reason to be proud.

According to him, it is the state’s obligation to further improve the infrastructure, provide adequate conditions for training and competitions, and support sport workers, experts and talents through systemic investments in sports.
