Premier Giorgia Meloni said that her stability of her government made Italy stronger economically and on the international stage as she reported to the Senate ahead of this week’s EU summit on Wednesday, the third anniversary of it taking office.

“The European Council on October 23 and 24 once again comes at an extremely complex international juncture,” said Meloni, whose government also became the third-longest in the history of the Italian republic on Sunday.

“Italy goes into it strong with a political stability that is rare in republican history.

“Solid economic and financial indicators make it appreciated by analysts and attractive to investors.”
