Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro and the United Kingdom share the same values and goals, and in particular strong cooperation has been achieved in the field of the rule of law, it was heard during the meeting between Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic and British Ambassador Karen Maddocks.

According to the government’s press release, Abazovic hosted a farewell visit for Maddocks and thanked her for her committed work in realization of numerous activities that served to improve the cooperation between two countries.

Maddocks thanked to Abazovic for support the Government of Montenegro offered to numerous British initiatives.

She emphasized that the two countries shared the same values and goals, and agreed that in particular strong support was achieved in the field of the rule of law, as well as in the plan of strengthening of cyber capacities of Montenegro.

The collocutors, as stated, exchanged opinions on importance of regional cooperation, agreeing that Montenegro can offer important contribution in that field.
