Leavitt: Trump has ended many conflicts, including between Kosovo and Serbia

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt, during the latest press conference, mentioned the role of U.S. President Donald Trump in ending global conflicts. Leavitt, during a conference at the White House, said that Kosovo and Serbia are among the conflicts that were prevented by Trump.

“President Trump has now ended conflicts between Thailand and Cambodia, Israel and Iran, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, India and Pakistan, Serbia and Kosovo, and Egypt and Ethiopia. The President spoke directly on the phone with the acting Prime Minister of Thailand and the Prime Minister of Cambodia to inform both leaders that unless they brought an end to their conflict, there would be no trade discussions or agreements with the United States. This means that President Trump has mediated, on average, about one peace agreement or ceasefire per month during his six months in office,” Leavitt said. It is worth recalling that President Trump has repeatedly mentioned his mediation efforts in the relations between Kosovo and Serbia as part of the U.S. efforts to prevent conflict. In September 2020, Kosovo and Serbia signed the Washington Agreement focused on economic normalization at the White House in the presence of Trump, as reported by KosovaPress.
