Kosovo-Serbia relations, Kallas: There can be no progress without the full normalization of relations.

During a visit to Albania, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union Kaja Kallas stated that there can be no progress without the full normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, KosovaPress reports.

Kaja Kallas made this statement during conference for media alongside Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“I think what’s important is that regarding Kosovo and Serbia, there can be no progress without full normalization of relations between these two countries. And of course, I will go to Bosnia and Herzegovina this afternoon to meet with all parties there in order to calm the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” she said.

Regarding the tariffs imposed by the US administration, Rama said there is no reason for concern.

During the joint press conference with Prime Minister Edi Rama, Kallas expressed that the European Union supports Albania’s path towards EU membership.

“There is no shortcut or fast track to EU membership except through proper performance in reform. You have our full support when it comes to opening other clusters. I was pleased to see the signing of this 90-million-euro agreement with the European Investment Bank to rebuild the railway between Durrës and Rrogozhinë as part of Corridor 8 of this project,” Kallas emphasized.
