Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Filip Ivanovic has formally opened the Montenegro Pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka.
On this occasion, Ivanovic highlighted the importance of Montenegro’s participation in EXPO 2025, adding that the Montenegro pavilion was designed as a fusion of tradition and modernity — a symbol of authenticity, openness, and harmony with nature.
According to a press release from the Government, the Pavilion sends a message that Montenegro is a country of dialogue, knowledge, and cooperation, ready to build new partnerships and friendships.
Executive Director of the Montenegro-Japan Friendship Association Kieko Oku recalled the long-standing ties between the two nations and the symbolic friendship that had been celebrated in recent years through the planting of cherry trees across Montenegro.
Members of the Montenegrin delegation, including Minister of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property Slaven Radunovic, and Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordic, also attended the opening ceremony.
